A Successful Trade Fair – and a Successful Groz-Beckert Presence

The ITMA ASIA was held for the second time in combination with the CITME in Shanghai from June 22 to 26, 2010. It was attended by 1,171 exhibitors from 28 countries, occupying a total of nine out of eleven possible exhibition halls. This time, in comparison to 2008, there were more visitors from important international textile markets. China heads the top ten for trade-fair visitor attendance, followed by India, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Indonesia, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Turkey.

A clear conclusion

Groz-Beckert was at the fair in hall E2, with a corporate booth covering an area of 496 square metres. The booth was very well attended throughout the entire trade fair. There was especially positive feedback for the topic of "Sustainability", featuring the KYOCERA Environment Prize 2010. A detailed brochure entitled "Preserving Diversity" is currently available to all interested customers for download at

Eric Schöller, Managing Director of Groz-Beckert KG, reached a clear conclusion after the company's successful trade fair appearance:
"The initial difficulties encountered by the ITMA ASIA are now a thing of the past. This year's fair in Shanghai has been noteworthy for its professionalism and efficient organisation. Greater international acceptance and frequency were clearly evident. Visionary in concept, the ITMA ASIA will continue developing into a very important - if not the most important - trade fair in the business. To some degree, of course, it is a response to the shift in international markets, with the new focus on Asia. For the Groz-Beckert Group, the ITMA ASIA has been a very successful trade fair - and it has opened up new perspectives for future trade-fair appearances."
