A successful DOMOTEX 2016 for Groz-Beckert – trade show organizers report 45,000 visitors from over 100 nations

On January 19, 2016 the DOMOTEX in Hanover ended with one of the best results in its history. The world's most important trade show for carpets and floor coverings sees itself as a driving force for local businesses, trends and innovations, and this role was confirmed long-term in view of the 1,441 exhibitors from 59 countries and 45,000 trade visitors from more than 100 nations who attended the show. Groz-Beckert was also represented at this important event, and, amongst other things, presented its new Cut Pile Looper with LoopControl®.

Under the motto "entry strictly allowed", the DOMOTEX presented the current trends in the industry – and with carpets, the trend is toward naturalness. The colors of the products presented made this especially clear: in addition to beige and brown there were also an increasing number of green and pastel shades to admire. Carpets with supersoft surfaces are also in vogue. The soft fiber yarns with extremely fine individual filaments (low DPF – denier per filament) that are required here place new and higher demands on the cutting performance of tufting tools, because traditional tools cannot always optimally cut the loops, resulting in uneven carpet surfaces.

The Cut Pile Looper with LoopControl® enables the controlled cut of each loop with one knife stroke. The result is a uniform, high-quality carpet surface. The Cut Pile Looper can also be repeatedly reground, and it guarantees long service life and lasting process stability in the Groz-Beckert system.

In addition to the presentation of the new Cut Pile Looper with LoopControl®, visitors to the trade show also showed great interest in the Groz-Beckert tufting system. The coordinated components create a uniform fabric appearance and also offer a unique price-performance ratio.
