On February 6, 2012 Vietnam's state president Truong Tan Sang visited the district of Dai Loc, distributed presents in aid of social welfare and inspected the local construction projects at the Cua Dai Bridges. Several factories in Dai Loc were also visited - and they included the headquarters of Groz-Beckert Vietnam in Ai Nghia, near Da Nang.
occasion for the visit was the State Labor Program of Quang Nam Province. The
Vietnamese President was accompanied by leading members of the Office of the
President, representatives of Ministries and also the boards of the Central
Government. Representatives of the Dai Loc District presented the positive
social-economical developments of recent years.
President Truong Tan Sang praised the progress that has been achieved. The delegation also visited the construction projects at the Cu Dai Bridges, an important land reclamation project in the eastern part of the province, and several local factories. The Groz-Beckert factory in Ai Nghia, near Da Nang, here represented an exemplary investment project that is sustainable and also quality-oriented. For instance, Groz-Beckert Vietnam places high importance on thorough training of local employees.
This site is important to Groz-Beckert for providing the steadily growing Asiatic markets with knitting and sewing machine needles and system components, thereby ensuring high product availability.
